Oscrete director appointed Chamber of Commerce Vice President
Scott Wilson, director of concrete admixture manufacturer Oscrete, has been appointed Vice President of Bradford Chamber of Commerce.
Representing Oscrete and its parent company, Christeyns, Scott has also joined the board of West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce as part of his new, voluntary role.
Working alongside Rebecca Fitzgerald, Bradford Chamber President and director of data and AI at Yorkshire Building Society, Scott’s term as Vice President will run for two years until he steps into the role of President in July 2027.
Scott’s appointment further reinforces Oscrete’s and Christeyns’ commitment to the region and to increasing awareness of the challenges and strengths of the construction and manufacturing industries around supply chain, skills and sustainability.
Scott said: “It’s a genuine honour to serve as Vice President of the Bradford Chamber of Commerce and to join the board of the West and North Yorkshire Chamber. I’m passionate about strengthening the connection between business and community and I’m committed to supporting initiatives that unlock potential and encourage cross-sector collaboration.”
Oscrete is a Bradford-based manufacturer specialising in concrete admixtures for precast, ready-mix concrete and mortars. Established in 1983, Oscrete is known for its innovative construction products which enhance the performance and durability of concrete applications. This year, the company has acquired structural waterproofing specialists PUDLO and integrated customers into the business from Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete specialists, Cemcotec.
