High-Fibre Strength Meets Design Versatility
Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC) is a lightweight, high-performance material used across architectural, civil, and decorative applications. Among its production methods, the spray-up technique stands out for delivering superior strength and fibre distribution — making it the preferred choice for structural panels, large-format cladding, and complex shapes.
Sprayed GRC involves pneumatically applying a cement-rich slurry and chopped alkali-resistant glass fibres onto a mold surface. This method allows for high fibre content (typically 3–5%) and optimal fibre orientation, resulting in excellent flexural strength and impact resistance. It’s particularly well-suited to vertical surfaces, curved profiles, and intricate designs that demand both durability and precision.
Whether you’re producing façade panels, architectural features, or bespoke installations, sprayed GRC delivers the strength and flexibility needed for demanding environments.
At Oscrete, we support sprayed GRC manufacturers with a specialised range of admixtures and additives designed to optimise every stage of production. Our solutions help improve spray consistency, reduce rebound, enhance compaction, and deliver smooth, defect-free finishes.
Our sprayed GRC product range includes:
Oscrete’s technical team works closely with GRC producers to fine-tune mix designs, troubleshoot production issues, and develop bespoke formulations. Our onsite laboratory enables rapid testing and validation, while our New Product Development (NPD) programme ensures we stay ahead of evolving market needs.
