Chilstone has produced its hand made products the same way for 70 years. Specialists in architectural stone for building projects, bespoke pieces and restoration work, the quality of Chilstone’s products is critical to the company’s reputation and repeat business.

Works manager Mark Crampton said: “We have worked with Oscrete for over 16 years and rely on their Sigma 412 packing agent and Sima 412 water proofing to give our high end finished products strength, resilience and authenticity.

“Everything we do is semi dry cast so we need Colourplas 540 admixture to help pack our stone, avoiding voids and increasing the strength. Our finished products need to be semi porous while having good water proofing for longevity – which is where the Sima 412 comes into its own. Thanks to Oscrete our mixes are durable, strong and the right consistency for the fine sculpture work that sets our products apart.”
