About Oscrete

Christeyns UK Ltd is the UK subsidiary of Christeyns NV, a privately owned multinational company located in Gent, Belgium.

Established in 1946 Christeyns NV has expanded from a small family concern into a modern international group.

The Christeyns UK story goes back even further; the original company was Oils and Soaps which was founded in 1874 and was acquired by Christeyns NV in 1998.

The Oscrete Division of Christeyns UK was formed in 1983 when new markets were found for the oil and surfactant products that the company made. Applications in precast concrete manufacturing were developed leading to the Oscrete brand becoming synonymous with high performance admixtures in precast concrete production. In 2002 the Oscrete Specialities division was set up to market and deliver fine chemicals to the wider construction market giving Oscrete a unique and diverse position in the UK construction chemicals market.

Christeyns UK is active in laundry detergents, institutional cleaning and hygiene products, oleochemicals in addition to it's wide range of construction products.
