For over 40 years, Oscrete has been a trusted name in construction chemicals, delivering high-performance admixtures and powdered additives to the UK and Irish concrete industry. Based in Bradford and part of the Christeyns Group, we combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of concrete production, supporting customers across precast, fibres, GRC, mortar, powders & dry mix mortar, and contract manufacturing.
Founded in 1982, Oscrete grew from Christeyns UK’s expertise in oil and surfactant chemistry, identifying new opportunities in precast concrete manufacturing. From those beginnings, the Oscrete brand quickly became synonymous with quality admixtures, innovation, and responsive service. In 2004, the launch of Oscrete Performance Additives expanded our reach into specialist chemicals for the wider construction market, cementing our reputation as a diverse and forward-thinking supplier.
Today, Oscrete offers more than 120 products across powders and liquids, sourced both from our own portfolio and trusted external partners. Our range includes superplasticisers, accelerators, retarders, waterproofing agents, fibres, curing compounds, and bespoke formulations — all designed to help producers achieve consistent, high-performance results.
Our strength lies not only in our products but in our people. Both our technical team and area sales team covering the UK and Ireland are ICT-qualified, ensuring customers receive expert guidance backed by industry-recognised competence. With a fully equipped laboratory, we provide mix design trials, product testing, and new product development. Onsite support is central to our service, offering practical advice and troubleshooting whenever needed.
